Description


The legend lives on! Pinasco has relaunched the popular 177cc cast iron tuning cylinder. Two variations are available: The racing kit is offered for either the new 3-port version, as well as the 2-port engines used in the Sprint, GT, GL, Super and VNA up to VBB models.

Basically, both of the variations resemble each other pretty much in terms of layout. Just click the diagram at the bottom to compare.
Both cylinders have identical valve timings, are manufactured according to state-of-the-art cast procedures and unfold their power evenly across the band.
The difference can be found in the boost ports. For the 2-port version, the boost port is closed at the spigot, and the port is supplied via a window in the piston. Therefore, slight torque advantages in the lower and middle rev ranges can be noted for the 3-port version.
In total, both cylinders offer the possibility to easily upgrade performance to the 12 hp of a PX 200. That way, you are well-prepared for traffic light races and fun overland rides.
Thanks to the harmonious power delivery and early accessible torque, this cylinder is pure fun!. It can be used together with original components without difficulties. To ensure a perfect unfolding of power, Pinasco recommends usage of the SI 24 carburettor. However, the cylinder benefits highly from upgrades such as the 60 mm bgm racing crankshaft or a Sito/PEP Plus.
Additionally, due to high torque at lower RPMs, mileage is great.
Finally, the total package is rounded off by Pinasco excellent workmanship.
