The Malossi 172ccm for the water-cooled Piaggio engines is the first choice for reliable and powerful tuning. More power in all rpm ranges with undiminished reliability are its strengths.
The bgm PRO stainless steel manifold not only prevents the ugly rusting like the original part, but also provides better exhaust gas routing which benefits the performance and temperature of the engine.
With the included original Mikuni jet set, tuning the carburetor is easy and straightforward. Start with the richest jet, and gradually jet down until the scooter runs perfectly. Check the spark plug pattern in between.
Perfect and inconspicuous kit, which screws your scooter in performance regions, of which scooter drivers with displacement stronger scooters dream!
The basic engine should of course be in good condition and not have too much mileage. Otherwise, an overhaul of the fuselage engine is recommended before tuning. Parts, oil seals, bearings, engine gaskets etc. can be found in our online shop.
Further tuning stages are possible with racing crankshafts, resonance exhaust systems, larger carburetors, etc. A new tuning of the engine is then necessary.
