Description
Complete screw set for mounting the fender to the fork.
Includes the correct screws in the original dimensions incl. nuts with large overall height.
Perfect for a true to original restoration.
The set also includes the matching plastic spacer washer which is mounted laterally between the fork and the mudguard.
This simple plastic washer has several functions:
Prevents by the distance permanent contact of the fender with the fork.
Thus no friction between fork and fender
Thus no potential source of rust, no noise development
Enables the correct alignment of the mudguard to the fork
We carry the spacer in two different thicknesses with 4mm and 6mm.
Normally the 4mm washer included in the set is sufficient. If the fender is not in line with the vehicle axle, the 6mm version can be used.
