Description


The "made in italy" ignition contacts come exclusively from the Piaggio original equipment manufacturer EFFE from Italy. Its quality has been unbeaten for decades and partly stands out quite clearly from the Far Eastern replicas. For example the guide bushes made of brass (often only plastic).
Everyone who values a reliable and permanently healthy ignition should not haggle for Euros but go directly for the original from EFFE.


The adjustment of the ignition contacts is relatively easy. Remove the rubber plug from the pole wheel. Bring the piston to top dead center (pencil through the spark plug hole and determine the TDC by turning the pole wheel back and forth). Then bring the contacts to a distance of 0.4mm (feeler gauge, see "Accessories"). To do this, simply loosen the fixing screw of the contacts slightly and adjust the ignition contacts with the blade of a suitable flat screwdriver. Tighten and you are done.
