The internal rotor ignition systems developed by Malossi are based on the most advanced technology used in racing. This new system was born from the need to overcome the technical limitations of conventional flywheel ignition, which cannot guarantee constant power above 10,000 rpm and causes serious adjustment problems on racing vehicles.

We have made the control unit even less sensitive to interference by developing an 8-bit uP STM8 microprocessor with a processing speed of 20 MIPS: It guarantees more accurate ignition timing control than previous versions!

The MHR Team II has a non-adjustable control unit with 3 trimmers and variable ignition timing adjustment:
