Description
Newest version of the proven BGM PRO HP (High Power) base plate for electronic ignition.
BGM has reworked the widely used BGM PRO ignition base plate and made it even better.
A significantly higher light output compared to conventional base plates is complemented by very high-quality coils and pickup.
Another nice detail is the precise gradation of the adjustment marks, allowing for very quick and easy setup.
The advantages compared to conventional PVC cables (e.g., on original Piaggio base plates) are numerous.
ADVANTAGES OF SILICONE CABLES
- Extremely temperature resistant (-40°C to +250°C)
- Always remains flexible
- Resistant to fats, oils, alcohols, oxygen, ozone
- Very high insulation properties
The BGM PRO HP base plate is designed as a high-quality 1:1 replacement for an original ignition system/alternator.
It can be replaced without modifications, and the higher light output does not require other bulbs.
Of course, the well-known features remain:
- Proven exciter coil with copper plate for maximum reliability
- Pickup with carbon barrier layer for a clean ignition pulse
- Neatly processed HP light coils
- High-quality solder joints
NOTE: The BGM pickup has a nominal resistance of 100 Ohm (+/- 10 Ohm)
As the base plate is intended for conversion, the cable ends do not have cable shoes.
