Description


The Fast Flow petrol taps have a high flow rate and ensure a perfect supply of fuel to the carburettor even on powerful engines. They can be replaced 1:1 with the original fuel tap.

The fuel tap is available in the following versions:

  • TYPE WITH RESERVE RESERVATION
    The version with reserve position corresponds to the functionality of a conventional fuel tap (open/reserve/close). Here, when the reserve level is reached, the fuel tap is manually switched to reserve. Nice feature on the side: The reserve quantity is about 1 litre more than the original fuel tap.
  • TYPE WITH ELECTRONIC RESERVE INDICATOR
    We offer the version with electronic reserve indicator for Vespa as well as for Lambretta. This indicates when the reserve level in the tank has been reached by means of a warning light, just like in a car. Because this type of fuel tap has no reserve setting (only on/off), there is no need to change it while driving. An additional safety advantage is the constant fuel supply. A corresponding LED for the reserve indicator can be fitted in the handlebar cover, for example.
  • SPECIAL TYPE LAMBRETTA WITH 90° CONNECTION
    Fast Flow fuel tap, where the connection for the fuel hose points to the rear, i.e. is offset by 90°. Eliminates space problems between the fuel tap and the left silent block of the engine.

NOTES
The float is not suitable for fuels with a high alcohol content. Therefore please do not use with E10/E85 fuel.

Connection ELECTRONIC RESERVE INDICATOR

  • BlUE CABLE
    The blue cable is the ground connection, which is also connected to the metal body of the fuel tap. When installed in vehicles whose fuel tank is connected to the chassis (Vespa), the blue cable is automatically connected to the chassis ground.

TIP
As an alternative to the individual wiring with an LED indicator light, we offer an adapter plug for the SIP/Koso speedometers (see accessories). Here the integrated reserve light is connected directly to the wiring harness of the speedometer. Simple plugging together is enough.

Tras años de instalar este grifo, puedo recomendarlo 100%.
Otros grifos acaban estropeandose, las gomas se cuartean y se deforman.
En este caso no ocurre, es fiable y duradero. Además, ahora vienen con la altura correcta de reserva, aunque se modificaba al gusto sin dificultad.

Ich hab diesen Benzinhahn schon etliche Male verbaut und noch nie Probleme damit gehabt
Alle waren dicht und haben genug Sprit durchgelassen.

Very good product and easy to install, but needs some changes to work properly. Main thing to change is the length of the inner plastic tube that regulates the level at which the petrol lever has to be changed from normal to reserve. As delivered, the tube is about 6/7cm, this has to be shortened to 3/4cms. (compare with stock Piaggio fuel tap) So that the fuel tap functions the same as the Piaggio fuel tap. It is a easy procedure, but good to do before you install it in the tank. Just twist of the outer plastic tube with gauze/mesh (it is threaded at the bottom), take out the inner plastic tube, and cut it to length. Now re-install, et voila a good functioning fuel tap.

Bon produit...mais joint à revoir !

Très satisfait de ce robinet d'essence, malgré une fuite au premier montage.
En effet, le joint fourni avec a deux défauts: il est d'un diamètre légèrement trop grand et, surtout, il est trop souple.
Du coup, il se déforme au serrage et crée des zones de fuite.
L'alternative consiste à monter le joint de robinet d'origine Piaggio...et là, c'est parfait !

Leider stimmt die Reserservemenge nicht mehr

Ich habe den Benzinhahn schon sehr oft verbaut und die Qualität ist gut. Leider wurde jedoch vor einiger Zeit, das Röhrchen welches die Reservemenge bestimmt verlängert. Dies bewirkt, dass man bereits nach kurzer Zeit auf Reserve umschalten muss obwohl noch jede Menge Sprit im Tank ist. Man Kann das Röhrchen zwar ganz einfach kürzen aber wenn man das vorher nicht weis kann man die ganze Arbeit noch einmal machen!
