CHARACTERISTICS
The Nessi by POSCH Performance is designed as a sporty touring exhaust with full everyday usability. The character of the exhaust is designed for very good drivability, and offers a rich torque with a very nice range. A very good pre-resonance response, as well as a nice two-stroke kick at around 5000rpm, offer driving pleasure and confidence on the road.
RPM AND HEAD ANGLE
Power peak: ca.7500U/min (depending on engine concept)
Recommended control angle cylinders:
Exhaust angle: 190°
Overflow angle: 132°-134°
Advance angle: 28° to 29
In practice, however, the Nessi also copes well with significantly smaller control angles, which can be in the range of 128° to 186°.
QUALITY AND NOISE
Posch Performance exhaust systems are manufactured in Germany to a very high standard from strong (1.5mm) sheet steel. The high wall thickness of the material used makes the Posch exhaust systems extremely solid. The unusually thick-walled sheet metal offers a muffled and rich sound. We recommend the Scooter&Service rear muffler. The flange plate offers with the common hole of Ø54mm but also the possibility to use mufflers from PM-Tuning, MR-Parts or MMW and comparable. However, the tailpipe diameter of the muffler should be at least Ø25mm. The Posch exhaust systems are delivered oiled. Therefore the exhaust should be treated with heat protection paint before the first ride.
SUITABILITY FOR DAILY USE
As one of the few exhaust systems in this performance class, the 'Nessiauspuff' fits with wide tires and main stand.
For this purpose, it was elaborately laid in a snake shape whereby it also got its name.
FIT
The exhaust is welded in Germany on a custom exhaust gauge. This allows us to guarantee a very good fit. Please note that a Vespa engine has some peculiarities that can affect the fit. The cylinder is not centered on the engine block and the possible rotation of the exhaust flange by several degrees can, for example, already decide on a problem-free installation of an exhaust system.
Likewise, the Malossi engine cases are designed differently (more massive) in the area of the exhaust bracket than an original engine case.
