Description
The PK 125 ETS exhaust is a little child prodigy. The replica exhaust system offers besides its discreet design, the advantage to increase the power over the complete rpm range, and approx. 500 rpm higher than the standard PK 125 exhaust.
With this it has almost reached the speed level of the Polini banana. With a decisive advantage. One does not hear it. The construction and thick-walled design of this replica let you almost only hear the intake noise while driving. The ideal exhaust for those who want a little more power, but for whom resonance exhausts are too maintenance intensive and loud.
Harmonizes perfectly with all DR 130, Polini 133, Malossi 136 and similar cylinders. The exhaust can be fitted to all long-stroke models of the PK 125 and series S, XL 1 and XL 2. It also fits the long stroke models of the previous series Primavera and ET3. Unfortunately, reworking of the manifold / holder is often necessary.
The replica is missing, in contrast to the original, a 5mm hole in the diffusor tube, which can be retrofitted, but has no decisive influence on the performance. The 20/20 SHB carburettor of the Vespa ETS is originally equipped with ND 42, HD 76, choke/cold start nozzle 60. For other models and engine configurations the injection should be checked and adjusted.
As with the original Vespa ETS, the installation of a spare wheel is only possible with conversion measures. Supplied complete with manifold and crossbar support plate. Order new gaskets and exhaust sealant separately if necessary. If possible lubricate the screw that fixes the bracket to the crossbar with copper paste to prevent it from sticking.
NOTE: The fit of the ETS replica systems is not always 100%. We recommend a 'dry' trial installation on the engine/vehicle in order to get a better idea of possible adjustments in advance. Please understand that we cannot take back already modified / rewelded systems / manifolds.
