A completely new engine housing concept serves as the basis, which is cast from a high-strength alloy. This now finally offers space for a much wider and thus also enormously stable crankshaft with no less than 56.5mm stroke (series PV125 is 51mm stroke). In combination with a 116mm connecting rod this creates a very solid basis for the powerful 200cc cylinder from Quattrini. This cylinder was deliberately designed so that it develops an enormous thrust even at low rpm and still develops more than 30hp and 30NM out of the box! So the wide ranged serial gearbox can be used further on without any problems. Gear connection problems are impossible due to the very wide and solid power band...

The cylinder has a diaphragm inlet, the diaphragm inlet which is already provided in the engine housing, but still casted, is not needed. The crankcase of the 200cc engine housing now uses larger dimensioned bearings of the category 6205. Since the crankshaft sealing ring of the drive side is now located outside the crankcase, there is no longer any securing of the shaft against shifting by screwing the primary pinion. Therefore it is necessary to use a guided bearing at least on one side. We offer two high-quality solutions for this purpose:

We recommend a Keihin PWK33 or PWK35 carburettor suitable for the intake manifold. Alternatively Max Quattrini recommends a Dell'Orto VHST26 carburettor (atomisation: HD: 135-138, ND: 35-38, mixing tube: HE270, needle: D36, slide 50)
To enjoy the powerful torque for a long time, a Hartz4 clutch with clutch cover of the PK XL2 models should be used. The long primary reduction ratio of the 125cc models can be used without any problems (27/69 = 2.56). Spark plug NGK B9EG. Tyres: 3.50-10. Adjustment Vespatronic 25° at 1500rpm.
The engine housing does not use sealing paper. It is sealed with a liquid seal such as Loctite 510 or Normfest Plastomar. Tightening torque of the cap screws 18-20Nm (M8). Tightening torque of housing screws 8-10Nm (M6). Gear oil quantity: 500ml mineral single grade oil (e.g. SAE30 stanchion). Mixing ratio of oil: 4% (1:25)
We would like to point out that the kit as such is matched to each other but during assembly a skilled hand and further adjustments are necessary, depending on the other components used and the respective base vehicle.
