Description
The DUE PLUS cylinders from Top Performance are clearly designed for speed and performance. Thus Top Performances drove an impressive record home with the DUE PLUS. With a special chassis, which somehow reminds of a suppository, a speed of 159,38km/h was driven in 1996 with an engine power of 17,6kW.
The cylinder is delivered with a coated Asso piston, which facilitates the break-in phase considerably and contributes to a perfect lubrication.
The channel layout and workmanship catapult the DUE PLUS cylinders into the midrace category. Trimmed for performance, the DUE PLUS develop more than 9kW. Due to the very high speed level of approx. 12000 rpm, they should be driven with a racing shaft to prevent damage to the crank drive. Indispensable to ensure full performance and durability is a 17,5mm carburetor and a suitable exhaust with short resonance length.
