Description


Pinasco's 177cc aluminium cylinder kits are a great way to give a standard 125/150cc engine a little more life. The well-manufactured cylinders are designed for absolute reliability and shine with a wide range of power output.
Due to the very good cooling properties of the aluminum, the 177 Pinasco can also be driven with the original 20 mm Si-carburetor without any problems. For a better power output, however, you should also convert to a 24 mm carburettor.

Pinasco always uses the 3-channel cylinder as the base cylinder for the aluminium versions of their popular 177cc touring kits. The 2-channel versions, however, have a spacer at the base of the cylinder. The spacer covers the third overflow channel, which is no longer filled through the engine housing, but through a cut-out in the upper piston shroud.

An extension of the transmission ratio is interesting if the engine is often driven on the motorway or if the engine is to be driven without damaging the engine speed.

Pinasco's injection suggestion is given with a 108 main jet for the 20 SI carburettors, and a 118 main jet for the 24 SI carburettor. The Pinasco can almost always be operated with the lean combination of 190 main jet and BE 4 mixing tube. This allows it to be unscrewed freely without having to modify the air filter.

The V2.0 version does not offer any technical innovations, but Pinasco has changed the foundry and has now also used the piston of the 2-channel version (which has a milling for the support channel) in the 3-channel version.
