It is far from being a simple enlargement of the bore to 52 mm. A closer look reveals the completely redesigned port layout of the cylinder. With small tricks the flushing behaviour was clearly optimised and adapted to the latest state of modern 2-stroke tuning.

The cylinder must be driven with a long stroke shaft with 44 mm stroke and 90 mm connecting rod length as well as 13 mm piston pin. A high quality racing crankshaft with appropriate bearings, which can cope with the immense power, is mandatory anyway.

Thanks to increased displacement and a newly designed port layout, outputs of 34 hp and more are possible.

In order to be able to mount the cylinder, the engine block in the area of the cylinder base mount must be spindled to 56.7 mm.
