Original clutch type of the Vespa Rally 200, PX200, COSA200: Ø115mm - 7 springs, 23 teeth.

This large clutch type with 115mm diameter and 7 springs marks the midfield of the clutch types available for the large frame engines. It is already stable enough to function well even in powerful everyday engines.


With 23 teeth, this is the longest (original available) sprocket in the transmission ratio and is used in combination with the original 65 tooth primary gear only.


The modular design of the PX engines makes it possible to use this type of clutch in combination with the 65 tooth primary gear of the 200cc models on all other large frame engines such as the PX80, PX125 or PX150. For these models, a small cast aluminium lug in the engine housing must also be removed to mount the clutch. This can be easily bent with a larger pair of pliers. Some clutch covers require a minimum of material to be removed from the drip nose at 12 o'clock in the radius area.


This clutch is recommended as a replacement for the 200cc engines (except Vespa COSA 200 with aluminium cylinder). If the primary wheel is exchanged (engine must be opened completely), this clutch is also an ideal companion for the DR135 on PX80 with standard exhaust or large tuning cylinders from 172cc on PX125/PX150.
