Normal version of the BGM Superstrong coupling spider. Can be used on all conventional auxiliary shafts. If the Superstrong is to be used on a DRT auxiliary shaft, we recommend using our special version for DRT auxiliary shafts. This way the clutch sits deeper by the dimension the DRT auxiliary shaft is longer (1,5mm). Therefore the clutch cover does not need to be underlaid with a compensating spacer.

The DRT version can always be recognized by a shouldered collar (step) on the back of the spider in the area around the cone of the auxiliary shaft mount. The normal version has here a normal slope without a step.

Assembly note:

The assembly of the coupling spider and base plate is only possible in one position.
For this purpose, orient the spider towards the base plate in such a way that the lower and upper spring pockets of both components are aligned with each other. This prevents the springs from being at an angle, thus ensuring that the coupling functions properly (see also PDF under "downloads").

We recommend BGM Pro Street gear oil (BGM2025, complies with specification API GL-3) as a lubricant.
