Description
The CASA PERFORMANCE clutch has been redesigned from the ground up and is the only clutch on the market with built-in shock absorbers. The clutch also has 12 spring positions and 7 discs. This allows it to withstand the enormous power output of the Casa Performance Scuderia SSR250/265 engines (47hp) without further modification. If the clutch is run in engines with less power, simply use fewer than the 12 springs already installed.
In addition to the integrated shock absorbers, which protect the entire drivetrain, emphasis was also placed on easy de/assembly. After removing the axially mounted pressure plate, one immediately has access to the 22mm central nut. This means that no copper compressor is necessary to remove the clutch.
The clutch fits in principle in all Italian, Spanish or Indian engines.
However, it builds about 10mm higher which requires the use of the Casa Performance engine cover or a 10mm spacer for the stock clutch cover. The Casa Performance engine cover (CasaCover) offers the additional great advantage of a very easy to operate clutch (due to a modified mechanism for the release lever).
The clutch is available with 47 or 48 teeth. Due to the necessary size of the clutch basket including the integrated jerk damper, there is no 46 tooth version.
This should not be a problem because the difference in gear ratio between a 46 tooth and a 47/48 tooth sprocket is only 2-3km/h per tooth.
