The first generation Vespa ET4 models had an immobilizer. For this purpose, the original ignition key included via a transponder that only releases the ignition if the coding is suitable.
A counterfeit key will therefore not allow the vehicle to start.

This CDI is suitable for bypassing the original immobilizer. Simply install this CDI without immobilizer and lay a separate cable from the CDI to the ignition coil (approx. 30cm 1,5mm² cable with two flat plugs).
Insulate the remaining multiplug waterproof and fix it with a cable tie.
